Yeah, so...

... I get it. No one in the world will ever see this blog except me. I am totally aware of this. Nevertheless, I shall post on. If only for me. And on that note, here are two new paintings for, uh, me to enjoy.

I may be a digital painting NOOB...

...but I'm having so much fun I don't care. It's so different from my Illustrator work, I'll have to learn to find a way to get the two styles to meet. Practice, practice, practice... I'm sure. At any rate, here are a couple of studies from my lessons:

Golden Afterthought...

...one more post. This one's an "art jam" assignment from a few weeks back, but I couldn't resist posting it seeing how Betty White is such a hot commodity at the moment. If the "Golden Girls" were an animated series, I think it'd go a little something like this. Or not.

I was told to never work with children or animals...

...or was that just in film? I forget. At any rate, here's a little Illustrator quickie in honor of that golden rule.

I have been learning how to digitally paint and couldn't be more excited about it. I cannot explain how great it is to work in another "medium" after playing solely with nodes and gradient fills for so long. Now if I can just learn how to come up with a creative idea or two... mwahahahaaaa...
