I get those apparently. Sometimes the holidays hit and you forget you have a blog for, oh, about a half a year. Sheesh. Here are some more black-and-white starlet portraits to update the blog since it's been a while:

... I get it. No one in the world will ever see this blog except me. I am totally aware of this. Nevertheless, I shall post on. If only for me. And on that note, here are two new paintings for, uh, me to enjoy.

I may be a digital painting NOOB...

...but I'm having so much fun I don't care. It's so different from my Illustrator work, I'll have to learn to find a way to get the two styles to meet. Practice, practice, practice... I'm sure. At any rate, here are a couple of studies from my lessons:

...one more post. This one's an "art jam" assignment from a few weeks back, but I couldn't resist posting it seeing how Betty White is such a hot commodity at the moment. If the "Golden Girls" were an animated series, I think it'd go a little something like this. Or not.
